Once you receive your access link, you can even test-open it — just make sure not to click “Click here to start" until you’re ready to play. That’s when your countdown timer begins.
For the Best of Panama City Selfie Hunt, you’ll have 48 hours of access (2 full days) from the moment you start, and you can always see your remaining time in the upper-left corner of the app.
A: Not much at all! The app does require an active data connection to work, but data usage is minimal. You’re not uploading or downloading photos — all your selfies stay safely on your own phone.
The GPS feature uses a small amount of data for location updates. To help you save, the app is set to auto-refresh every 3 minutes instead of constantly in real time. If you ever want an immediate update, just tap “Refresh Now.”
A: No problem! Just reopen the app using your unique access link and tap the yellow “Re-Join Game” button. You’ll resume right where you left off — even if you left it overnight — as long as there’s time left on your countdown timer.
⚠️ Important: Don’t tap “Start New Game”, or your previous progress will be lost.
A: Your adventure link is unique and personal — if someone else signs in using your link, they’ll automatically take over your session and you’ll be logged out.
However, you can absolutely purchase another access link to give as a gift! It makes a great present for friends, family, or teammates who want to enjoy their own adventure.
A: Not at all! You can complete the selfie tasks in any order you like — total freedom to explore at your own pace.
To make navigation easier, the tasks are organized by zones. You can toggle between viewing all locations or just the tasks within a specific zone. For example, if you plan to start in Casco Antiguo (Old Quarter), select that zone to see a cleaner, less cluttered map showing only nearby spots.
You’re not required to complete every task — just choose the ones that interest you most. And don’t forget to keep an eye on your countdown timer in the upper-left corner to see how much time you have left to play.
A: The app was originally created in English, but it can be automatically translated into over 40 languages.
Just tap the capital letter “A” in the upper-right corner of your home screen to choose your preferred language. The system will instantly translate all written content for you.
